Hi I’m Abi,
Owner and founder of a little kentish dog grooming salon with a difference. This quirky and friendly little business is operated within an airy, calm and caring environment, in the ideal location.
A regular dog grooming routine, is essential to ensuring that your dog will be familiar and relax into the experience. They will also look polished and feel more comfortable, because knots, matts and sensitive skins, can all cause extreme discomfort.
Dog grooming is not just about how your dog looks, it is also about how they feel, as well as, how you feel when you leave them in our care.
At Yappy Pups, we are dedicated to making YOUR dog look AND feel great.
So far . . .
My personal introduction and love of dog grooming, was in a professional salon setting, in 2015. Moreover, my individual journey of discovery led to an exciting opportunity, in early 2017, where I became manager and business owner of the salon.
Fast forward to winter 2020, the salon moved premises and I decided to completely transform the unique brand name & logo design.
In 2022, I achieved a Level 3 Award In Hand Stripping and 2024, I graduated my Level 3 Diploma In Dog Grooming & Salon Management, [including Canine Emergency First Aid]. Each qualification is held with iPET Network Ltd and are Ofqual regulated.
Here are the faces of Yappy Pups, Border Terrier, ‘Olly’, (left), Lurcher, ‘Buddy’, (top right) and Jack Russell, ‘Flora’, (Bottom right). They each gave me inspiration for the salon name because of their plucky, notably loyal and individual terrier character & nature.
